How We Do It

the generosity of those who support the Nevada Women’s Fund make a difference in our success. That is why your participation as a donor is vitally important!

Maribel Ramirez, NWF Scholarship Recipient; with 2 Masters Degrees, now a counselor at Sparks Middle School

Establish an Annual Scholarship Award

Form a scholarship in your name, your family name, someone you wish to honor, or anonymously, to award to a deserving northern Nevada woman (minimum annual amount $1,500).

Each year our donors are offered the opportunity to meet their individual scholarship recipient(s) so that you may learn the stories of the amazing women and find out exactly how the scholarship has improved their life.

Establish an Endowment Scholarship

Form an endowment account with a minimum and principal donation of $10,000 (which may be built over a period of up to 5 years), held in perpetuity, and providing annual education scholarships for generations to come.

Estate Planning

Make a personal gift that will transform the lives of women and children living in Northern Nevada for generations to come. Donations and scholarships may be structured via annual giving and planned charitable gifts.

  • Costs you nothing during your lifetime
  • Allows you to be far more generous than you ever thought
  • Preserves your savings and cash flow
  • Can be changed or revoked as needed
  • Easy to arrange.

To help us in the future, your legacy investment in the Nevada Women’s Fund is a powerfully effective and personal way for you to empower individual women meeting your specified criteria to be educated in northern Nevada for generations to come. Donors are encouraged to name the scholarship and set scholarship guidelines for the scholarship recipient qualifications.

To design a gift benefitting the people and organizations you care about most, we recommend that you obtain the professional counsel of an attorney who specializes in estate planning. We can work with your advisors to help you plan for tomorrow and receive maximum benefits today. Leave your mark on Nevada’s future and make a big impact with your gift.

Contact our office to discuss details of establishing your legacy gift.
