Scholarships: Nevada Women’s Fund’s mission is Empowering women to achievement, and we do this through education and career advancement opportunities. Our robust scholarship program awarded $500,000 to women living and educating in Northern Nevada in 2024. Your support allows us to ensure every deserving woman is awarded the funding necessary to achieve her academic dreams.
Summit Project: Northern Nevada’s premier initiative focused on achieving wage parity and equity for women. Each year, Nevada Women’s Fund will commit significant resources to initiatives that foster career development, professional growth, and equitable workforce participation for women. By targeting these areas, we strive to close the gap between educational attainment and economic equity, enabling women to achieve their full potential and participate in the workforce on an equal footing with their male counterparts.
International Women’s Day: Your support is critical to the success of our inaugural day-long community celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025. Together, we will honor the achievements of women and raise awareness about critical women’s issues. Throughout the day, we’ll spotlight women-owned businesses and provide educational and inspiring opportunities for all ages and genders to engage and support women.
